GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DAILY WORKS

Responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and managing the comprehensive facility maintenance program and production support activities. Lead daily maintenance operations and troubleshooting across all facility areas. Address electrical power failures and resolve breakdowns of facility equipment. Conduct inspections of building facilities and serve as the Emergency Response Team Coordinator. Execute corrective, scheduled, and preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment. Provide supervisory guidance to contractors working during and after office hours. Maintain accurate records of equipment operations and an inventory list of critical electrical components. Ensure that all electrical installations comply with the regulations established by Suruhanjaya Tenaga. Actively participate in energy management initiatives. Supervise the work performed by contractors and additional personnel as required.

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

The ideal candidate must hold at least an AO, A1, or A4 certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST). A minimum of 1 year of experience as a High Voltage Chargeman is preferred, ideally within the Manufacturing sector. Familiarity with the Electricity Supply Act and Electricity Regulations is a valuable asset. Knowledge of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Regulations and Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) procedures is essential. The candidate should possess strong analytical and technical skills for troubleshooting and solution development. A highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and self-driven nature is required. Compliance with site safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures is mandatory.
