Production and Material Planner (Semiconductor / Pasir Gudang)

• Evaluate contract quantities and delivery schedules to ensure their accuracy and practicality.
• Prepare quotations for clients and confirm the invoicing notices generated by team members.
• Oversee material logistics in relation to production capacity, planning, and shipping timelines. Create and revise monthly procurement strategies.
• Facilitate interdepartmental coordination throughout the production process to guarantee efficient operations.
• Administer inventory and materials management, including addressing defective items and ensuring appropriate scrapping procedures to support uninterrupted production.
• Monitor production progress and modify plans as necessary to fulfill customer needs.
• Establish and nurture effective communication and relationships with external suppliers.
• Recognize challenges, suggest solutions, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide direction and support to team members to meet production objectives.
• Ensure adherence to company safety and environmental regulations during production activities.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, material management, or supply chain coordination.
• Fluency in English and Chinese as working languages is essential. Knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards is preferred.
• Willingness to work in Pasir Gudang is mandatory.
