PLM Windchill Consultant

Job Overview:

• We are in search of an experienced PLM Windchill Consultant with 3 to 5 years of expertise in the implementation, customization, configuration, and support of PTC Windchill PLM.
• The successful candidate will possess hands-on knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management processes, CAD integration workflows, change management, and data migration tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Customize, configure, and provide support for PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
• Engage with Windchill modules including Parts, Documents, Change Management, and Workflows.
• Create and manage Windchill customizations utilizing Java, JSP, and APIs.
• Conduct data migration, manage BOM, and oversee product structure management.
• Facilitate the integration of Windchill with CAD tools like Creo and other enterprise applications.
• Set up lifecycles, workflows, access controls, and organizational frameworks.
• Identify and resolve issues within the Windchill application.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver effective PLM solutions.
• Assist in system upgrades, deployments, and performance enhancements.
• Create technical documentation and offer training for end users.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Windchill PLM.
• Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles.
• Expertise in customizing and configuring Windchill.
• Practical experience with Windchill Workflows and Change Management.
• Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink and Parts Management functionalities.
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, XML, and Windchill APIs.
• Understanding of CAD integrations, particularly with Creo.
• Experience with SQL databases and data migration techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Duties:

• Experience with Windchill upgrades and migration initiatives.
• Insight into manufacturing and engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Windchill certification is a plus.
