PLM Windchill Consultant

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled PLM Windchill Consultant with 5 to 9 years of experience in implementing, configuring, customizing, and providing support for PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
• The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of Product Lifecycle Management processes, including engineering change management, CAD integrations, workflows, data migration, and Windchill administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, develop, customize, and maintain PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
• Collect business requirements and convert them into effective PLM solutions.
• Design and implement Windchill workflows, lifecycles, and change management processes.
• Oversee product structures, BOMs, document management, and part management.
• Create custom solutions using Java, JSP, Windchill APIs, Info Engine, and Web Services.
• Integrate Windchill with Creo, ERP, SAP, and other enterprise systems.
• Execute data migration, system upgrades, and deployment tasks.
• Set up access controls, roles, organizations, and security policies.
• Diagnose and resolve application performance and functional challenges.
• Assist global engineering and manufacturing teams by promoting PLM best practices.
• Draft technical documentation and facilitate user training.

Technical Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Windchill PLM.
• Extensive experience with Windchill PDMLink.
• Proficient in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM).
• Experience with Change Notices, Change Requests, Change Tasks, and Workflows.
• Hands-on experience in the customization and configuration of Windchill.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, XML, JavaScript, and Windchill APIs.
• Experience working with Info Engine and Windchill Business Rules.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Experience integrating Windchill with CAD applications, preferably Creo.
• Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing lifecycle processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Experience with Windchill upgrades and migration projects.
• Exposure to ThingWorx, Creo View, and MPMLink.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience in Windchill System Administration.
• PTC Windchill certification is a plus.
