Pega Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for PEGA applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Assess PEGA case management workflows, business rules, decision tables, and process automations for accuracy.
• Evaluate PEGA applications developed on:
• PEGA Customer Service
• PEGA Customer Decision Hub (CDH)
• PEGA Sales Automation
• PEGA Marketing
• PEGA BPM Solutions
• Verify integrations with external applications, APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
• Perform API and web service testing for both REST and SOAP integrations.
• Carry out data validation and migration testing tasks.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Engage in collaboration with PEGA developers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure validation for production releases.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with PEGA application architecture and business process management principles.
• Experience in validating assignments, stages, SLA rules, routing logic, and case processing.
• Practical experience in API testing utilizing Postman or comparable tools.
• Strong comprehension of STLC, defect management, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent test management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and techniques for database validation.
• Experience in Agile delivery frameworks.
