Oracle VBCS Developer

Job Overview:

• Lead cloud transformation initiatives for clients by designing and implementing cutting-edge VBCS solutions.
• Act as the specialist who transforms business requirements into impactful VBCS applications while building strong client relationships and enhancing team performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with Oracle products.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle VBCS.
• Technical Proficiency
• Design and create robust VBCS applications leveraging SaaS OIC and Oracle Cloud Database.
• Convert wireframes and high-level designs into functional, responsive code for both web and mobile applications.
• Thoroughly test, debug, and maintain VBCS applications to ensure peak performance.
• Integrate VBCS solutions with other pertinent technologies and services.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in VBCS features and industry trends.
• Client Engagement
• Work closely with clients to gain insights into their needs and challenges.
• Design and deliver engaging solution proposals that highlight VBCS capabilities.
• Facilitate solution demonstrations and proof of concept workshops to confirm solutions.
• Prepare precise project estimates that align with client budgets and Infosys standards.
• Provide continuous technical support and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaboration and Teamwork
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including designers, project managers, and fellow developers.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement within the team.
• Communicate project status and any potential challenges proactively.

Technical Qualifications:

• Oracle VBCS: In-depth understanding of fundamental VBCS functionalities, best practices, and design patterns.
• Web Development: Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Responsive Design: Experience with responsive design principles is essential.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with SaaS OIC and Oracle Cloud Database integration is a plus.
• Web Services: Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Software Development Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices.
