Oracle Supply Chain Management Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• A typical day for an Infoscion
• In your role as a member of the Infosys consulting team, you will play a crucial part in supporting various phases of projects, including problem identification, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution development, design, and implementation.
• You will investigate alternatives to proposed solutions through extensive research, which encompasses literature reviews, publicly available information, vendor assessments, and more.
• Your responsibilities will also include developing Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• You will translate business needs into requirement specifications, define future processes, and create detailed functional designs based on these requirements.
• Your role will involve configuring solution requirements within the products, diagnosing any issues that arise, seeking clarifications, and identifying and evaluating potential solution alternatives.
• Additionally, you will engage in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to our clients.

Technical Requirements:

• Fundamental knowledge of Oracle ERP EBS or Oracle Fusion applications
• Basic understanding of Oracle application architecture and associated business process flows
• Familiarity with business processes in one or more functional areas, such as:
• Order Management (OM)
• Inventory (INV)
• Purchasing/Procurement (PO)
• Work in Process (WIP)
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Proficiency in creating functional documentation and test cases
• Knowledge of basic SQL for data validation and analysis
• Prior experience as an end user of Oracle ERP EBS or Oracle Fusion applications is advantageous
• Oracle certification in EBS or Fusion is a plus
• Experience in Oracle implementation support or enhancement projects is beneficial
• Experience in AMS (Application Maintenance Support) project environments is preferred
