We are currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in Zigbee.
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: 5 days onsite
Experience Required: 2-6 years
Job Description:
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ZigBee Smart Energy Profile 1.4 and ZigBee Cluster Library.
Desired Experience
Total Experience: 2 to 6 years in Embedded Systems Software Development.
Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical experience in the design and development of Embedded Software, focusing on RTOS/Linux, device drivers, BSP customization, bootloaders, communication protocols, board bring-up, debugging, and the complete product development lifecycle.
Essential Skill Set :
- Proficient in the design and development of Embedded Systems Software.
- Skilled in programming languages such as C and C++.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with ZigBee Smart Energy Profile 1.4 and ZigBee Cluster Library.
- Familiarity with ARM Cortex-based microcontrollers/processors.
- Strong grasp of Embedded Linux and RTOS architecture, including kernel modules and driver development.
- Experience in board bring-up processes and boot sequence analysis.
- Proficient in software debugging utilizing GDB, memory leak detection, and performance profiling tools.
- Comprehension of software design principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns applicable to embedded systems.
- Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and static code analysis tools.
- Solid knowledge of UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces.
- Familiarity with OS concepts like POSIX Threads and Inter-Process Communication mechanisms.
- Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG debugger, GDB, Trace32, and Visual Studio.
- Proficient in configuration management tools including CVS, SVN, TFS, GIT, ADO, and Jenkins.
- Experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders effectively.
