Job Description
Job Overview:
- We seek a seasoned Telecom OSS Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 9 to 15 years of specialized experience in Telecom Network Operations, particularly in OSS platforms, Network Management Systems, and Service Assurance.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate robust domain expertise in FTTx, IP MPLS, Transmission, Wireless Networks, NMS, OSS Tools, Fault Management, and Performance Management.
Primary Duties:
- Oversee OSS and telecom network transformation, migration, and support projects.
- Engage in OSS architecture, network inventory management, fault management, service assurance, and performance monitoring solutions.
- Administer telecom network operations encompassing IP MPLS, Fiber Access, Core, and Transport networks.
- Evaluate network performance and propose optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with both business and technical teams to create OSS solutions that meet telecom requirements.
- Assist with incident, problem, and change management efforts.
- Pursue automation initiatives in network monitoring and service assurance processes.
- Engage with telecom operators, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective solution delivery.
- Guarantee adherence to telecom standards and best practices.
- Generate technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.
Technical Qualifications:
- 9 to 15 years of experience within Telecom OSS and Network Operations.
- In-depth understanding of OSS and BSS ecosystems.
- Practical experience in Fault Management, Performance Management, Configuration Management, and Service Fulfillment.
- Familiarity with IP MPLS, Ethernet, Broadband, FTTx, GPON, Metro Ethernet, and Core Networks.
- Comprehension of telecom network architecture and service provisioning.
- Experience utilizing OSS tools such as Netcracker, Teoco Cramer, IBM Netcool, Nokia NetAct, Ericsson ENM, Amdocs, or comparable platforms.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Telecom Digital Transformation Projects.
- Knowledge of SDN, NFV, and Cloud-native telecom architectures.
- Familiarity with 4G, 5G, LTE Transport, and Optical Networks.
- Experience with automation using Python, Shell Scripting, or Ansible.
- Experience collaborating with telecom operators and in managed service environments.
- Understanding of TM Forum frameworks, including eTOM, SID, and TAM.
