Leasing Executive

Brief Summary

• Assist with leasing growth by supporting tenant sourcing, negotiations, documentation, and performance analysis. Help drive efficient tenancy management, stakeholder communication, and the creation of commercially sustainable concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support the Leasing Manager with the review and planning of tenant mix strategies. Perform market research, evaluate performance trends, and produce reports on the property and key competitors. Identify and secure appropriate tenants through prospecting, arranging and conducting site viewings, managing lease negotiations, and handling renewal discussions. Build and maintain strong working relationships with current tenants, prospective tenants, real estate consultants, and industry associations. Prepare, coordinate, and track lease documentation, marketing collateral, tenancy records, and sales-related files. Maintain and operate systems for tenant sales tracking, lease performance monitoring, rental analysis, forecasting, and management reporting. Track tenant rental payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and initiate suitable recovery actions. Oversee and follow up on monthly tenant sales submissions via the designated portal and point-of-sale system. Support enhancements to lease management and point-of-sale systems. Contribute to feasibility studies and the creation of innovative formats and curated concepts. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in shopping mall leasing or a similar property-related role. Proven experience in retail leasing, including an established network of tenant and industry contacts. Strong negotiation and numerical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant office applications. High attention to detail, strong organisation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Self-directed, resourceful, collaborative, and able to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
