JDE Technical Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience a typical day as an Infoscion
• In your role as a member of the Infosys consulting team, you will actively support various project phases such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment
• You will investigate alternative solutions to the proposed recommendations through comprehensive research, including literature reviews, publicly available information, and vendor evaluation
• and develop Proofs of Concept (POCs)
• Your responsibilities will include drafting requirement specifications based on business needs, defining future processes, and creating detailed functional designs
• You will assist in configuring solution requirements within the products, diagnosing any issues, identifying their root causes, and proposing viable solution alternatives
• Additionally, you will contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to clients

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the IT industry as a Technical Developer specializing in JD Edwards Enterprise One, with exposure to a diverse range of projects
• Proficient in the development of Reports, Form Design Aid, Table Design Aid, Business View Design Aid, UDC, Financial Reports, Interfaces, Named Event Rules, C Business Functions, Business Intelligence, Autotask Ticketing Tool, Service Now, Remedy, and One View Reporting Orchestration Tool
• Strong experience and knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One Technical Foundation tools
• Proven experience with data exchange interfaces between JDE and third-party tools
• Expertise in E1 application troubleshooting and problem-solving methodologies
• Skilled in menu creation, filtering, and promotion
• Proficient in debugging within JDE, including the JDE Debug and troubleshooting processes
• A dedicated and hardworking individual, passionate about achieving perfection and excellence

• Capability to engage with clients to identify their business challenges and refine, analyze, and structure relevant data for client deliverables
• Familiarity with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, complemented by effective collaboration skills
• Ability to evaluate current processes, pinpoint areas for improvement, and recommend technological solutions
• Knowledge of one or two industry domains
