Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Possess 5+ years of practical, hands-on Java development experience
Have experience with Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and Oracle/PostgreSQL
Demonstrate familiarity with cloud-native development and container platforms
Have experience delivering projects in Agile environments
Banking or financial services experience is preferred
Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices
Design and implement scalable APIs and backend services
Support project delivery, production stability, and performance optimization
Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, QA, and DevOps teams
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Expertise in Java (Java 11/17) and Spring Boot, with REST API development experience
Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design
Database development experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL
Knowledge of cloud and container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker)
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Git
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Agile/Scrum delivery experience
