IT Specialist - Unit Trust Regional / Overview:

Requirements:

Provide Application Technical Support for Java and Oracle Database environments.

Proficient in platforms including Windows and UNIX/Linux (Solaris) as well as WebSphere web deployments.

In-depth knowledge of Unit Trust origination and workflow systems.

Hands-on experience with Windows and Unix scripting, along with familiarity in MS-DOS operations and support.

Experience in a Banking IT environment is advantageous.

Available for 24 x 7 on-call support.

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.

Possess a friendly demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrates proactivity and is a collaborative team player.

Willingness to work in Cyberjaya/KL.

Able to collaborate with colleagues across borders.

Familiarity with tools and practices such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities:

Deliver system support and manage enhancements for the Unit Trust application.

Specialize in systems within the Unit Trust domain.

Perform Level 2 and Level 3 production support.

Conduct problem investigations, including issue identification, root cause analysis, and solution definition and implementation.

Engage closely with users to understand their requirements and challenges.

Manage system risks and develop improvements to mitigate and address these risks.

Coordinate with vendors regarding the Scope of Work, enhancement progress, and implementation of fixes.
