IT Operations & Mantainence Engineer (IT Support)

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct routine operation and maintenance (O&M) activities for servers and network equipment at the IDC facility on a daily basis.
• Manage on-site IT asset logistics, including inbound and outbound operations, as well as warehouse oversight.
• Implement server deployment, relocations within the same campus, component upgrades, and decommissioning or disk removal in accordance with work orders.
• Assist in diagnosing network issues and maintaining link operations by collaborating closely with the Network Operations Center (NOC).

Required Qualifications

1. An associate degree or higher educational qualification.
2. Strong proficiency in PC server configuration and architecture, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated experience in PC server maintenance.
3. Fundamental understanding of SXM-architecture GPU server hardware.
4. Experience with Linux system configuration and troubleshooting; at least 1 year of Linux maintenance expertise.
5. Ability to independently diagnose and repair PC servers and Linux-based systems.
6. Capability to mentor junior engineers in diagnosing PC servers and Linux systems.
7. Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, network switching, and routing protocols.
8. Familiarity with common network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
9. Experience guiding junior engineers in installing and configuring network device operating systems.
10. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues with mainstream network equipment including Cisco, H3C, and Huawei devices.
11. A minimum of 3 years' experience in the operation and maintenance of network equipment.
12. Possession of at least one mid-level network certification from a leading vendor such as Cisco, H3C, or Huawei.
13. Basic knowledge of IDC power distribution and cooling systems, along with foundational understanding of IDC operations and data center audits.
14. Proficiency in English or the local official language, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
