Position: On-site IT Operations & Maintenance Engineer (Servers & Network)

Location: Malaysia

Experience Required: 3+ years

Job Overview:

The role involves overseeing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and management of physical servers, Linux operating systems, and network infrastructure within a data center environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform server installation, ongoing maintenance, relocation, hardware replacements, and decommissioning processes.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux systems.
• Manage network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls, ensuring optimal operation and troubleshooting network issues as needed.
• Handle IT asset management and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Collaborate with the Network Operations Center (NOC) team to resolve network-related problems efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in server maintenance and support.
• At least 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of network equipment.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on Linux system maintenance experience.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
• Practical experience working with Cisco, H3C, or Huawei networking hardware.
• Possession of at least one intermediate-level networking certification.
• Basic familiarity with SXM GPU servers.
• Hold an associate degree or higher educational qualification.
