Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Platforms, you will oversee and deliver infrastructure solutions across diverse cloud environments using established designs. You’ll help ensure scalability, reliability, and security while partnering with IT teams to implement and integrate cloud infrastructure solutions based on existing designs.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Set up, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and databases across multiple cloud platforms to support business applications.
• Implement Cloud Resources: Coordinate key cloud services including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Load Balancers, and Cloud Storage solutions to maintain smooth, dependable operations.
• Ensure High Availability: Monitor infrastructure continuously, troubleshoot issues, and uphold high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations for dependable performance.
• Optimize Cloud Costs: Right-size resources, design cost-efficient solutions, and analyze usage patterns to optimize cloud spend.
• Automate Processes: Apply automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to automate and streamline workflows.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Cloud Services Proficiency: Experience with cloud services from providers such as Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and others, along with expertise in Linux and VMware environments.
• DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and applying these practices to the management of cloud infrastructure.
• Automation Tools: Experience using automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to automate and streamline processes.
• Cloud Migration: Experience delivering cloud migration projects, including implementation and execution, with the ability to manage and execute cloud migration plans.
• Kubernetes Cluster Management: Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters across various cloud environments to support container orchestration and scaling.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Cloud Security Best Practices: Experience implementing and enforcing cloud security controls to meet organizational policies and industry regulations, including data encryption, access controls, and threat detection.
• Advanced Cloud Automation: Experience with advanced automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell to automate complex cloud infrastructure tasks and workflows.
• Multi-Cloud Expertise: Experience managing and integrating multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and others, to enable a seamless and efficient cloud infrastructure.
