Guidewire Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• 5 to 12 years of overall experience, with 3 to 5 years specifically in Guidewire Configuration Integration
• Familiarity and understanding of the Property and Casualty Insurance sector
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies is highly advantageous
• Guidewire Certifications are strongly preferred
• Proficient in Java J2EE, with hands-on experience in Guidewire modules such as Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center
• Capable of designing and developing Guidewire Integration Components and configuring PC, BC, or CC
• Experience with Guidewire Platform upgrades is essential; cloud experience is a plus
• Hands-on knowledge of GOSU, Web Services, and XML
• Proficient in database management, particularly Oracle SQL Server, and well-versed in SQL
• Demonstrated expertise in Guidewire Integration, including:
• Integration with ESB, legacy applications, and/or third-party vendor applications
• Familiarity with common integration methods such as Service-Oriented Architecture, web services, SOAP, Messaging, and JMS MQ
• Experience with GOSU Rules Engine, data models, and workflows
• Proficient in unit testing, including gunits, and technical design documentation
• Strong background in incident management, problem management, and request handling for Guidewire PC, BC, CC configurations, customizations, and third-party integrations
• Practical exposure to tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, and JMS messaging queues
• Must possess skills in estimation, team leadership, code review, and mentoring
