Healthcare-Data Analyst

Job Overview:

• As a HealthCare Data Analyst, you will utilize your expertise in healthcare and data management to analyze significant trends influencing the US Healthcare industry and its data source systems. Your role will focus on transforming raw data into actionable insights to facilitate informed, data-driven decision-making.
• This position also requires providing comprehensive industry knowledge and insights to address complex business requirements, as it involves direct interaction with clients.

Primary Duties:

• Lead sessions for business requirements gathering to create a product backlog and develop functional specifications for IT solutions using ALM tools such as Jira, Rally, RRC, and RTC.
• Oversee data mapping and the maintenance of data platforms, including the creation of subject areas and integration of data from various global platforms.
• Examine healthcare data to uncover patterns and insights, generating thorough reports to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards in all data handling practices.
• Identify potential operational enhancements through data analysis.
• Document current and future business processes while evaluating business data models, systems, and technology integrations.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to assess requirements.
• Craft user stories and establish acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrate expertise in the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Possess experience with Agile methodologies and related tools.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives at the account unit level.
• Spot new growth opportunities and assist with proposal and solution development activities.
• Have a solid understanding of project management and budgeting activities.

Technical Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and their data structures.
• Proficient in SQL and various database management systems, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Significant experience in Data Warehousing and ETL, along with business analysis, integrating data, and using ETL tools such as Mirth Connect and Talend.
• Understanding of cloud platforms.
• Skilled in all stages of the System Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, use case modeling, data analysis, technical specifications development, issue resolution, user acceptance testing, schedule tracking, task management, and process documentation for training manuals.
• Proven experience leading meetings with client business representatives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiar with design thinking methodologies, including customer personas, customer journeys, and story maps.
• Exceptional soft skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience working in a multicultural organizational environment.
