Import Executive – Sea Freight Operations Specialist

Position Overview:

• Facilitate effective communication with clients, international agents, and carriers to ensure efficient import processes.
• Collaborate with transporters and consignees to ensure customs clearance and prompt delivery of goods.
• Track and oversee import shipments, consistently updating shipment status.
• Comprehend and manage customs regulations and procedures.
• Address customer inquiries through phone and email correspondence.
• Utilize EDI software for shipment processing.
• Organize local handling services as necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and departmental reports, including monthly documentation.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Work Schedule:

• 5.5 days per week (with alternate Saturdays following confirmation)

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in sea freight/import operations.
• Familiarity with Incoterms (preferred).
• Proficiency in CW1 software is a plus.
