Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

In the capacity of a Full Stack Engineer, your primary focus will be on backend engineering, while frontend responsibilities will represent a smaller yet significant aspect of the role. You will engage with the entire software development lifecycle, taking charge of backend-centric solutions that necessitate strong logical reasoning, clean architecture, and the foresight to predict real-world usage patterns. Although the role offers exposure to frontend technologies, success hinges on backend expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously rather than specializing in UI.

This position is particularly suited for engineers who primarily see themselves as backend developers, are adept at functioning with minimal oversight, and can consistently deliver stable, production-ready solutions in a methodical corporate environment.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement backend services utilizing Java and Kotlin
• Create and sustain frontend components with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
• Utilize MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases to enhance application functionality
• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code that aligns with enterprise engineering standards
• Engage in code reviews and collaborative development efforts, including pair programming
• Independently diagnose issues and deploy robust solutions
• Fulfill coding assignments and project tasks by adhering to documented requirements

Must-Have Experience

• At least 3+ years of demonstrated experience in application development with Java and Kotlin in a corporate or enterprise environment
• Full stack development expertise, encompassing React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Practical experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Exceptional problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities
• Capability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Experience in delivering functional code with minimal supervision
