Qboyd Software Solutions is seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in enterprise firewall deployment, configuration, network security, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, oversee, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions.
• Design and implement firewall policies, access-control rules, NAT, and other security configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot FortiGate and other enterprise firewall platforms.
• Work with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewall technologies.
• Assist with Routing & Switching implementation and troubleshooting.
• Monitor firewall performance and investigate security incidents.
• Carry out firewall upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and ongoing maintenance.
• Audit firewall rules and implement network security hardening measures.
• Coordinate with network, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain technical documentation for firewall configurations and troubleshooting procedures.

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Firewall Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise firewall deployment and implementation.
• Strong experience with FortiGate firewalls.
• Experience with at least one of the following:
• Cisco ASA
• Palo Alto
• Check Point Firewall
• Good understanding of Routing & Switching.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Zscaler Proxy.
• Experience with other enterprise proxy solutions.
• Automation tools and scripting.
• Linux operating systems.
