Financial Services Business Consultant

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a knowledgeable Financial Services Business Consultant with substantial expertise in Capital Markets and Digital Assets to lead initiatives focused on business analysis, product innovation, and platform transformation.
• This position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology departments to establish requirements, devise solutions, and create scalable products within both traditional and digital asset environments.

Core Responsibilities:

• Facilitate requirement gathering, analysis, and impact assessment across Capital Markets and Digital Asset platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and implement transformation initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Evaluate current and target operating models, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and automation.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design comprehensive workflows that encompass onboarding, trading, settlement, custody, and asset servicing processes.
• Work alongside front office trading, custody operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver effective business solutions.
• Engage in Agile practices, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and product demonstrations.
• Serve as a Proxy Product Owner by aiding in backlog management and delivery prioritization.
• Identify integration requirements, APIs, data flows, and system interoperability needs.
• Assist in UAT, release management, production validation, and post-implementation activities.

Technical Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Capital Markets, covering Trade Lifecycle, Settlement, Reconciliation, Custody, and Securities Processing.
• Hands-on experience with Digital Assets, including Cryptocurrencies, Stablecoins, Crypto Custody, Wallets, and Trading Platforms.
• Familiarity with Blockchain technologies, Digital Asset Tokenization, and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT).
• Understanding of AML, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Regulatory Compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in Business Analysis methodologies within Agile and Scrum environments.
• Adept at translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Strong grasp of API integrations, data flows, and platform interoperability.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with institutional digital asset custody platforms such as Fireblocks, BitGo, or Anchorage.
• Familiarity with Tokenized Assets, Real World Assets (RWA), and Digital Securities.
• Understanding of exchange, broker-dealer, and custodian ecosystems.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, and operational processes within trading or custody environments.
• Desired Profile
• 12-15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Business Consultant in Financial Services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Product-oriented mindset with a high level of ownership.
• Able to work effectively within global cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
