Brief Overview

We are in search of a meticulous finance expert to lead treasury operations, advance M&A strategies, and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards. The ideal applicant will possess substantial experience in financial analysis and valuation within fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of group-level cash flow, liquidity strategy, and working capital optimization across diverse portfolios. Formulate and execute robust hedging strategies to mitigate currency and interest rate risks utilizing financial tools such as Interest Rate Swaps and Forwards. Lead treasury forecasting efforts, performing sensitivity analyses on interest rate shifts and foreign exchange variations. Supervise debt financing activities, engage with financial institutions, and refine capital structures to minimize the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC). Conduct intricate valuations of companies and assets, including DCF and comparable analysis for both real estate properties and corporate entities. Direct M&A initiatives from the development of initial pipelines through due diligence and negotiation stages. Construct and sustain financial models to support the assessment of acquisition and divestment prospects. Ensure compliance with the Singapore Code on Take-overs and Mergers in all applicable transactions. Serve as the internal authority on compliance with the SGX Rulebook and associated listing obligations. Enhance the group's tax positioning by overseeing both direct and indirect tax responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Real Estate. Professional certification such as CFA/CA/ACCA or equivalent is highly desirable. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or treasury, with a focus on the Real Estate sector. Proven familiarity with the SGX Listing Manual and the Singapore Code on Take-overs and Mergers. Comprehensive understanding of corporate valuation techniques and real estate asset modeling. Demonstrated proficiency in interest rate and foreign exchange hedging techniques. Strong grasp of direct and indirect tax frameworks as they relate to real estate investments.
