Facility Technician

Overview

We are on the lookout for a diligent Facility Technician dedicated to maintaining the efficiency and safety of our factory setting. This position focuses on the upkeep of infrastructure and the organization of maintenance tasks with external contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance of the physical infrastructure, utilities, and facilities. Oversee and manage licensed contractors during renovation and maintenance work. Address maintenance requests swiftly to ensure all facilities remain functional. Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, lighting, and other essential systems. Supervise the upkeep of safety and security systems, including alarm systems, access controls, and CCTV. Guarantee adherence to fire safety regulations through the routine maintenance of fire extinguishers. Coordinate and oversee contractors engaged in renovation projects. Communicate with management regarding safety and environmental issues related to the building. Generate purchase orders and procurement requests for system administration. Assist with planning office layouts and drafting floor plans.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education or certification in facility management or a similar discipline. A minimum of 3 years' experience in facility maintenance or a comparable role. Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, along with safety and security measures. Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Proficient in managing multiple priorities and tasks effectively under pressure. Familiarity with administrative procedures associated with facility management is a plus.
