Position: Export Pricing Manager

Compensation: 7 LPA – 12 LPA

Location: Fort, MUMBAI

Job Title and Description

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated expertise in understanding the current freight market dynamics, rate fluctuations, capacity situations, carrier strategies, and competitive pricing across key trade routes.
• In-depth knowledge of Ocean and Air Export freight pricing, encompassing freight rates, surcharges, local charges, routing, transit durations, and relevant commercial conditions.
• A proven negotiator with the ability to secure competitive and profitable rates from:

1. Shipping Lines
2. Airlines / Airline Carriers
3. NVOCCs and Consolidators
4. Co-loaders
5. Local Transport Providers and Vendors
6. Other pertinent logistics service providers

• Capability to forge and sustain strong professional relationships and rapport with shipping firms, airlines, consolidators, international agents, and local vendors.
• Expertise in sourcing competitive rates while upholding the company’s profitability and service quality standards.
• A well-connected professional within the freight forwarding sector, possessing a comprehensive understanding of current market rates.
• Ability to deliver swift, precise, and commercially viable pricing solutions to the Sales and Business Development teams.
• Strong analytical abilities to compare rates, assess routing options, evaluate margins, and identify the most commercially effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in export pricing management or related areas (e.g., import/export management).
• Thorough understanding of export regulations, tariffs, taxes, and trade agreements.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with freight forwarders or third-party logistics providers is a plus.
