Job Description

• Formulate and execute long-term category strategies that align with business and technology roadmaps.
• Lead a team of procurement and category management specialists, fostering capability development and striving for performance excellence.
• Establish and enhance strategic partnerships with suppliers to promote innovation, cost efficiency, quality, and supply chain continuity.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders across operations, engineering, finance, and manufacturing to achieve procurement goals.
• Implement annual cost improvement initiatives and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Oversee supplier performance management, conduct business reviews, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Keep abreast of market trends, supply chain changes, and emerging technologies to uncover new sourcing opportunities and competitive advantages.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management within the semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, capital equipment, or a similar advanced manufacturing context.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing procurement or category management teams.
• A proven history of developing and implementing strategic sourcing and category management initiatives.
• Experience in cost reduction, supplier development, and total cost ownership strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to influence senior stakeholders and handle complex cross-functional projects.
• Robust commercial acumen with experience in negotiating high-value contracts and supplier agreements.
• Proven experience in managing supplier risk, performance, and business continuity plans.
