Director, IT SAP IBP Planning

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Planning & Business Partnership
• Collaborate closely with Operations Leadership, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to establish and enhance planning capabilities that align with the overall business strategy.
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing refinement of leading Planning Platforms and Processes, which include:
• Demand Planning
• Inventory Planning
• Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Revenue Calibration / demand-shaping alignment
• Create a cohesive planning vision that integrates strategic, operational, and execution planning layers.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, converting business requirements into actionable technology roadmaps.
• End-to-End Planning Capability Buildout
• Enhance integrated planning capabilities throughout the supply chain ecosystem:

• Inventory Optimization & Planning

• Direct the architecture and delivery of leading Planning Platforms that are integrated with SAP S/4HANA to ensure smooth planning-to-execution processes.
• Guarantee seamless integration across:
• Demand signals → supply plans → manufacturing execution
• Financial alignment with operational plans
• Encourage the adoption of SAP best practices and advanced functionalities (e.g., heuristics, optimization, scenario simulation).
• Oversee system design, data models, and governance of planning master data.
• Transformation & Program Delivery
• Lead extensive digital supply chain transformation initiatives across various regions and business units.
• Establish governance for delivery, prioritize roadmaps, and track value realization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to ensure standardization of end-to-end processes.
• Promote agile and product-centric methodologies in planning solution delivery.
• Leadership & Team Development
• Construct and guide a high-performing team of planning solution architects, product owners, and analysts.
• Encourage strong collaboration among IT, planning, manufacturing, and logistics teams.
• Advocate for a culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and the delivery of business value.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLSETS:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles focused on Supply Chain Planning IT.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with leading Planning Platforms such as SAP IBP or equivalent, which includes
• Proven track record of integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA for planning and execution processes.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver capabilities across:
• Demand Planning
• Inventory Planning
• S&OP / IBP
• Revenue calibration / demand-financial alignment
• CTB (Capable-to-Build)
• MPS (Master Production Scheduling)
• RCCP (Rough-Cut Capacity Planning)

• Background in manufacturing, life sciences, consumer goods, or industrial sectors.

• Certifications in leading Planning Platforms.
• Experience in Asia-Pacific or global working environments.
