Cypress Testing

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with proven expertise in Cypress and solid programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain reliable end-to-end automated testing frameworks for web applications.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in Cypress test automation.
• Overall 4-10 years of experience in IT and minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in Cypress is must.
• Proficiency in one of the following languages – Java / Javascript / Typescript / Python.
• Experience with REST API automation using Cypress or other tools is good to have.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodolo

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Build test cases for UI, API, and regression testing.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to define test scenarios and maintain full coverage.
• Set up automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain existing automation frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in test automation.
• Create detailed test reports and monitor defects through to closure.
