Customer Support Representative

Candidate Profile / Essential Qualifications:

• Applicants should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in international customer support.
• While experience may vary between 2 to 3+ years, a minimum of 2 years is essential.
• Candidates are expected to have practical experience in:
• International voice support
• Chat support / messaging support
• Managing customer inquiries across various channels
• Exceptional communication abilities are required.
• Quality of candidate profiles will be a primary focus during the selection process.
• Preference will be given to candidates from regulated sectors, including:
• FinTech
• Banking
• Insurance
• Financial Services
• Experience in the crypto industry is considered a bonus.
• Given the potential scarcity of candidates with crypto experience, substantial experience in the financial domain will also be taken into account.
• Coinbase has begun implementing AI initiatives within their operations.
• Current employees are participating in AI-related training programs.
• Applicants should have a fundamental understanding or experience with AI-driven tools.
• Familiarity with:
• AI copilots
• Chatbots
• AI-enhanced support tools.

Interview & Selection Process:

Step 1: Internal Screening

• The recruitment team will evaluate candidates based on:
• Communication proficiency
• Experience in international voice support
• Chat support experience
• Relevant industry background

Step 2: Interview with Coinbase Manager

• Selected candidates will be forwarded to Coinbase for consideration.
• These candidates will participate in one or two rounds of interviews with a manager.

Step 3: Versant Assessment

• Only candidates who are ultimately shortlisted will take the Versant assessment.
• Rationale:
• Versant assessments incur a cost.
• It is not cost-effective to assess all applicants submitted.
• The Versant assessment is typically completed on the same day following the selection/interview process.
