Automation test engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and sustain robust automation test frameworks utilizing Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Create, execute, and uphold automated test scripts for web applications
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
• Examine test outcomes, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
• Formulate and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab
• Execute API testing utilizing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Create test execution reports and quality metrics
• Ensure compliance with software testing best practices and quality standards
