Job Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts and service agreements.
• Deliver legal support for commercial transactions and strategic business initiatives across the region.
• Work closely with commercial, operations, finance, and technical teams to identify, assess, and manage contractual and business risks.
• Advise on compliance obligations related to data protection, cybersecurity, and other relevant regulations.
• Keep track of legal and regulatory developments that affect the digital infrastructure and technology sectors.
• Oversee external legal counsel and assist with the execution of legal projects when required.
• Support the creation of contract templates, policies, and best-practice workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Commercial Lawyer' should have:

• Qualified lawyer admitted in a recognised common law jurisdiction.
• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong focus on commercial contracting.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements.
• Strong business partnering capabilities, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
• A practical, commercially oriented mindset for legal issue resolution.
• Prior in-house experience in technology, cloud services, digital infrastructure, or related fields will be advantageous.
• Experience supporting large enterprise or strategic customer contracts is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
