Your Role And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve backend applications based on business requirements.
• Maintain and manage applications in a cloud-native environment using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Commit source code using GitHub; conduct code reviews to ensure changes are current, compliant, high quality, and free of vulnerabilities.
• Operate in line with Agile methodologies.
• Share knowledge and support the technical growth and upskilling of team members.
• Exhibit strong communication skills when collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to quickly learn new areas and technologies as required by business needs.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in C/C++ is a must have.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming, including debugging, performance optimization, memory management, and multithreaded application development.
• Experience working with Linux-based C/C++ applications, build systems, and toolchains.
• Knowledge of modern C++ standards and development practices.
• Experience modernizing or integrating legacy C/C++ applications with cloud-native and containerized environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize high-performance C/C++ applications in production environments.
• Good level of expertise in Kubernetes or OpenShift, including experience using Docker/Podman and public cloud providers.
• Good understanding of Container Networking (CNI) and container-native storage concepts.
• Strong expertise in version control systems (Git).
• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Shell scripting.
• Proficient in Linux system administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Ability to design and run a DevOps application lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins and Github Actions, with hands-on experience writing and debugging Jenkinsfiles.
• Knowledge of Generative AI systems, including:
• LLM inferencing and model serving, including experience with vLLM
• Integrating GenAI/LLM inferencing into backend services and APIs
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn
• Understanding of performance, scalability, GPU utilization, and cost considerations for AI workloads in production

• Full stack development using Go and Python is preferred.
• Advanced expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud service providers.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI and inferencing, including:
• Serving LLMs using vLLM in cloud-native environments
• Scaling and operating inference workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Integrating GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications
• Ability to learn new domains and technologies quickly based on business needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
