Your Role and Core Responsibilities

As a Cloud Solutions Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of cloud-based projects for clients. This includes managing project scope, budget, timeline, and deliverables to ensure they align with contractual agreements or service orders. You will utilize advanced project management methodologies such as the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery to facilitate efficient and effective solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Oversee Project Scope and Deliverables: Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables to ensure consistency with service agreements, applying methodologies like the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile practices.
• Lead Delivery Teams: Direct and coordinate the delivery team, maintaining effective communication with client project managers and stakeholders to guarantee project success.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with client project managers and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure project outputs meet their expectations.
• Implement Project Management Frameworks: Apply project management techniques such as the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery to drive project momentum and quality.
• Technical Alignment and Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables adhere to technical requirements, including cloud migration strategies, ongoing modernization efforts, and coexistence architecture considerations.

Educational Qualifications (Preferred)

Master’s Degree

Essential Technical and Professional Skills

• Cloud Migration Expertise: Experience with cloud migration, continuous modernization, coexistence architecture, refactoring, containerization, APIs, Microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Cloud Platform Implementation: Practical experience delivering projects on at least one major cloud platform such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Red Hat OpenShift, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Application Component Proficiency: Strong understanding of core application components, including System of Engagement (SOE), System of Insight (SOI), System of Integration (SOI), and System of Records (SOR).
• Project Management Methodologies: Familiarity with frameworks like the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery Models.
• Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead delivery teams and liaise with client project managers and stakeholders within cloud solution environments.
  
  

Additional Preferred Skills and Experience

• Cloud Architecture Design: Knowledge of designing and deploying cloud architectures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments, to bolster migration and modernization initiatives.
• DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), to streamline project deployment and operational processes.
• IT Service Management (ITSM): Familiarity with ITSM frameworks like ITIL to ensure service delivery aligns with contractual requirements and project objectives.
