As the industry evolves towards cognitive, cloud, mobile, social, and security-centric solutions, our lab has played a vital role not only in developing new products in these domains but also in pioneering innovative development methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, and DevOps. Your Role and Responsibilities Who You Are: We seek experienced Firmware professionals specializing in Z Systems, committed to creating highly secure systems for enterprise deployment. Our focus is on delivering maximum security and enabling IBM LinuxONE customers with on-premise, customer-managed container solutions via Secure Service Containers, ensuring data protection and safeguarding against insider threats. You will contribute to developing new features for the Dynamic Partition Manager (DPM), which simplifies and accelerates the deployment of Linux servers on mainframe systems. DPM serves as a configuration management tool designed for efficient setup and management of Linux servers operating on mainframes. What You'll Do: Your primary objective will be to develop the world’s most secure systems using Z Systems, empowering clients to deploy their applications securely. You will also contribute to creating robust platforms for cloud deployment that defend against cyber threats and other security challenges. Additionally, you will help streamline and accelerate the enablement process, making deployment and management easier for end-users. How We'll Help You Grow:

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required Technical and Professional Skills:

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
• Deep understanding of operating system fundamentals, container technologies, security protocols, virtualization management, REST APIs, cloud application development, and DevOps practices including Continuous Integration.
• Proven experience in application cloud development, containerization, and DevOps workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a global team environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience: Experience with Z Systems, knowledge of private cloud environments, familiarity with Catalog Services, Microservices architecture, and exposure to Storage, Networking, and Security domains will be considered advantageous.
