  • Support AWS networking and hybrid connectivity, managing VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, Direct Connect, VPN, Transit Gateway, and hybrid connectivity models that integrate AWS with existing customer networks.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code and scripting through tools like Terraform, Python, AWS CLI, SDKs, and enterprise CI/CD tools to automate repeatable platform capabilities and support applications within the DevOps framework.
  • Monitor performance metrics and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that foster success factors for the cloud platform and the broader software portfolio.
  • Manage risk, audit, and compliance by addressing audit requirements, rectifying findings, communicating risks, and supporting compliance across AWS platform services.
  • Implement, support, and test disaster recovery plans for AWS platform services and DevOps tools.
  • Employ ITIL practices and tools such as ServiceNow for change release management, enhancing operational discipline, change control, release quality, and service efficiency.
  • Enable customers by collaborating with business application security, operations, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver secure, resilient, compliant, and cost-effective AWS solutions.

Technical Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS public cloud, ideally in enterprise or financial services sectors.
  • Proficiency in AWS technologies, including backup and restore, disaster recovery, networking security groups, network ACLs, troubleshooting, operational logging, storage, compute, and access control.
  • Experience in AWS network design, covering VPCs, subnets, route tables, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN connectivity, firewalls, security groups, and cloud security constructs.
  • Proven track record in supporting production AWS deployments and operationalizing cloud projects.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS automation and coding technologies, including AWS CLI, Terraform, Python, SDKs, and CloudFormation where relevant.
  • Experience with Terraform deployments utilizing GitLab, GitHub, or other comparable enterprise CI/CD and SDLC tools.
  • Experience collaborating with security operations, engineering, platform, and application teams to deliver comprehensive AWS solutions.
  • 3 years of experience in managing enterprise software development lifecycle.
  • 3 years of experience in software development, build release management, and change incident management.
  • 2 years of systems administration experience.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain operational runbooks.
  • Participation in Agile Scrum methodologies and best practices.
  • Possession of one public cloud Associate-level certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, or equivalent.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in software support or development.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Intermediate understanding of cloud industry concepts and AWS services, including XaaS, IAM, IaaS, serverless, disaster recovery, DevOps, server, storage, and networking.
  • Ability to remain flexible, adapt to shifting priorities, and work effectively under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor.
