About EALKAY
EALKAY is a business consulting firm that advises founders and enterprises on strategy, finance, legal, and technology. We began six years ago with two people working out of a 70 sq ft room. Today, we are 30+ team members serving 35+ clients.
Our work is built on three principles: Clarity, Growth, and Transformation. We also create websites and brands for our clients. Our promise is straightforward: #WeJustDeliver
Why this role exists
We design websites and produce content for EALKAY, our offerings, and our clients. Publishing strong content isn’t sufficient if people can’t find it. In this role, you will help each site rank better on Google and attract the right visitors.
This is an entry-level position, and we will provide training. We are seeking someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how search truly works.
What you will do
Keyword research
- Identify the words and questions people search for within each client’s industry.
- Organize keywords by topic and share a keyword list with the content team.
On-page SEO
- Write and update page titles, meta descriptions, headings, and image alt text.
- Ensure blogs and pages use the right keywords in a natural way.
- Insert internal links between related pages.
Technical basics
- Perform site checks for broken links, slow pages, and missing tags.
- Coordinate with our tech team to fix the issues you uncover.
- Submit sitemaps and monitor indexing through Google Search Console.
Local SEO
- Set up and maintain Google Business Profiles for local clients such as restaurants, clinics, and stores.
- Ensure the business name, address, and phone number stay consistent across listings.
Off-page
- Source reputable sites for listings, guest posts, and backlinks. Avoid spam links.
Reporting
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and leads for each website.
- Create a clear monthly SEO report for each client.

Goals for each site are established after the first audit and reviewed every month.

Who we are looking for
Must have

- Basic understanding of how Google search works: keywords, on-page elements, and backlinks.
- Strong written English. You can identify a weak title or an awkward sentence.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow a checklist.
Good to have
- An internship, college project, blog, or website where you worked on SEO.
- Google Analytics or Search Console certification, or completion of a HubSpot or Semrush course.
- Basic HTML and WordPress knowledge.
- Interest in AI search, including Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT search.
What will not work for us
- Taking shortcuts such as keyword stuffing, buying links, or copying content.
Tools you will use
Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Business Profile, Google Keyword Planner, and an SEO suite such as Semrush, Screaming Frog, WordPress, and Google Sheets.
What we offer
- Practical training: you will work on live websites from week one.
- SEO exposure across multiple industries, from restaurants to SaaS to finance.
- Support for SEO certifications.
- A clear growth path to Senior SEO Executive or Digital Marketing roles.
How to apply
Send your CV to [HIDDEN TEXT] with the subject line 'SEO Executive'. Include any website, blog, or project where you tried SEO, and explain what you changed.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short task: audit one web page and propose five fixes.
