Automation Engineer Salesforce Claims

We are seeking a Salesforce Claims Automation Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable test automation solutions for Salesforce-based Claims applications. This position will prioritize expanding regression coverage, minimizing manual testing effort, improving automation reliability, and supporting continuous testing within Client's Agile/DevOps delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation for Salesforce Claims workflows.
• Automate key end-to-end Claims lifecycle scenarios, including claim creation/intake, validation, assignment, assessment, reserves, payments, recovery, and closure, as applicable to the business process.
• Create automated coverage for Salesforce UI, business workflows, validations, integrations, and APIs that support Claims processes.
• Review existing manual regression suites and select high-value automation targets based on business criticality, risk, repeatability, and regression frequency.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable Salesforce automation components, utilities, and test suites.
• Improve existing automation frameworks to strengthen reliability, maintainability, reusability, and execution efficiency.
• Implement and maintain Selenium-based Salesforce UI automation, or the approved automation technology used by the program.
• Automate UI, functional, regression, integration, and API/service-level testing across Salesforce Claims workflows.
• Verify integrations between Salesforce Claims and upstream/downstream applications using appropriate API, service, database, and end-to-end automation.
• Build automation capable of handling Salesforce application behaviors such as dynamic UI components, reusable business processes, data-driven scenarios, and role-based workflows.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback cycles.
• Investigate automation failures and determine whether issues originate from application defects, automation-script problems, environment issues, integration failures, or test-data issues.
• Manage automation test data and dependencies while meeting applicable masked/synthetic-data requirements.
• Uphold automation standards, reusable libraries, code quality, documentation, execution evidence, and reporting.
• Work closely with Claims SMEs, Salesforce developers, business analysts, functional testers, and Test Leads to ensure automation covers business-critical regression scenarios.
• Take part in automation code reviews and continuously improve framework quality, execution stability, coverage, and maintainability.
• Assess approved AI/GenAI-assisted testing accelerators through controlled PoCs where applicable.
• Confirm that AI-generated tests, code, or other automation artifacts receive appropriate human review and validation prior to adoption.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce application testing and test automation.
• Strong understanding of Claims business processes and end-to-end Claims lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium-based UI automation for Salesforce applications.
• Strong experience in API/service automation and integration testing.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise automation frameworks.
• Strong programming/scripting skills suitable for the selected automation framework, such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or equivalent, based on the program technology stack.
• Experience creating reusable automation components, libraries, utilities, and data-driven tests.
• Experience working with dynamic Salesforce UI elements and complex business workflows within automation.
• Hands-on experience integrating automated test suites with CI/CD and continuous-testing pipelines.
• Good understanding of Git/source control, branching, pull requests, and code-review practices.
• Experience with test-data management and reusable test component design.
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and automation failure-triage skills.
• Experience working within Agile/DevOps delivery models.
