Assistant Vice President - Business Banking & Direct Corporate

Position Overview

We are in search of an accomplished leader to spearhead the expansion and innovation of our General Insurance division through strategic partnerships and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and support team members, cultivating a high-performance culture grounded in collaboration and accountability. Ensure that strategic initiatives are in sync with organizational goals and business priorities. Discover and develop new business prospects with direct clients and customer interfaces. Establish and nurture robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration. Oversee the planning and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and customer needs. Manage and enhance the direct portfolio, with an emphasis on long-term profitability and customer loyalty. Propel campaigns through tendering opportunities, ensuring adherence to compliance and competitive strategies. Track campaign performance indicators, evaluate outcomes, and adjust strategies to improve acquisition and retention rates. Maintain a favorable loss ratio by applying sound underwriting practices and conducting thorough risk assessments. Provide competitive quotes and manage reinsurance strategies to reduce exposure. Promote process improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a degree along with a professional insurance qualification. 5 to 8 years of pertinent experience within the insurance industry. Relevant certifications such as BCP, PGI, CGI, and HI are essential. Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint applications. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Capable of working independently while also being an effective team player with strong multitasking skills.
