AR & Credit Management Analyst

Summary:

This position is responsible for managing accounts receivable and credit management activities to improve customer satisfaction and accelerate cash collection. Success in this role depends on developing effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, actively managing orders and credit exposure, and addressing customer questions quickly and accurately.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead ongoing customer and sales communications to support customer satisfaction and cash collection.
• Maintain proactive oversight of out-of-stock situations and engage customers in decisions by presenting suitable alternatives.
• Drive proactive cash collection and manage credit risk by tracking payment behavior and recommending credit limit adjustments.
• Process phone orders and manage customer-initiated order changes in SAP.
• Oversee the customer ledger to ensure accurate, current visibility of overdue invoices and deductions.
• Contribute to cash forecasting and review bad debt matters with commercial finance teams.
• Own incoming customer questions and respond to internal query management tickets in a timely manner.
• Regularly update customer contact information and knowledge books.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, sales, supply chain, commercial finance, and process execution teams.
• Promote the Sarbanes Oxley/Control agenda.
• Generate reports that enable customer communication and support root cause analysis.

Required Skills:

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in the relevant languages for the specific market, along with strong English language skills.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Solid problem-solving ability and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong capability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate ownership.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.

Education & Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Desirable: College or university degree, financial knowledge, OTC process knowledge, and excellent product knowledge.
