Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Application Architect with a focus on AWS Cloud Migration, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the design and execution of cloud migration solutions across multi-cloud settings, including AWS, Azure, and ICP. You will play a pivotal role in shaping migration strategies, tools, and networking prerequisites for hybrid cloud infrastructures.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Lead Migration Architecture Design: Formulate and execute migration architecture solutions for multi-cloud environments, ensuring smooth integration with AWS and additional cloud platforms.
• Design Migration Strategy: Work collaboratively with the team to devise effective migration strategies, identifying the appropriate tools and methodologies for rehosting, refactoring, rearchitecting, replatforming, and containerization.
• Adopt Migration Methodology: Oversee the implementation of migration methodologies, customizing strategies to fit client environments and industries, while offering expert insights during method adoption workshops.
• Provide Technical Expertise: Contribute significantly to Migration Project Managers regarding technical aspects, including WBS, estimation, migration risks, dependencies, and Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Map Client Requirements: Leverage extensive knowledge of the AWS platform and service catalog to align client platform and application deployment needs with AWS-specific services and configurations.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Cloud Migration Solution Design: Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud migration solutions for multi-cloud environments, specifically AWS, Azure, and ICP, with an emphasis on hybrid cloud platforms.
• Migration Strategy Development: Demonstrated ability in formulating effective migration strategies, including the selection of appropriate tools and methodologies for rehosting, refactoring, rearchitecting, replatforming, and containerization.
• Migration Methodology Adoption: Experience in leading the integration of migration methodologies, tailoring approaches to suit client environments and industries, while providing expert guidance on method adoption workshops.
• Technical Expertise in Migration: Significant experience in advising Migration Project Managers on technical components, including WBS, estimation, migration risks, dependencies, and Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• AWS Platform Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the AWS platform and service catalog, with the capability to translate client platform and application deployment requirements into AWS-specific services and configurations.

• Deep Knowledge of Azure: Familiarity with the Azure platform and service catalog, with the capability to align client platform and application deployment requirements with Azure-specific services and configurations.
• Familiarity with ICP: Exposure to the ICP platform and service catalog, understanding how to integrate ICP with various cloud platforms.
• Containerization Expertise: Experience with various containerization techniques and tools, including the ability to select the most suitable methods for rehosting, refactoring, rearchitecting, replatforming, and containerization.
