Annotation Associate

In the role of Annotation Associate, you will take on the critical task of manually annotating and labeling data items for our client within the Data Annotation sector. This position involves providing support across various streams integral to the team and project. You will assist project leads and team members on a daily basis, ensuring that data sets maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform manual annotation and labeling of data items. 
• Ensure the precision and trustworthiness of data sets. 
• Develop targeted sets to assess and enhance judgment quality. 
• Evaluate search results based on their effectiveness in meeting user requirements. 
• Check annotated data for errors and rectify them as needed. 
• Keep records of completed tasks. 
• Maintain consistency in the data annotation process. 
• Offer feedback to refine data annotation methodologies. 
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals. 
• Examine test outcomes to pinpoint weaknesses and provide improvement suggestions. 

Required Qualifications: 

• A bachelor's or master's degree. 
• Welcoming fresh graduates with the necessary language proficiency. 
• Native or certified proficiency in required languages (English/ Mandarin/ Cantonese/ Japanese/ Korean/ Arabic/ Thai). 
• Strong English communication abilities. 
• Background in data labeling and categorization. 
• Exceptional attention to detail to guarantee accuracy in annotation. 
• Robust research skills to interpret potential intents behind user search queries. 
• Capable of managing time effectively and adhering to deadlines. 
• Adept at data analysis and following complex instructions. 
• Proficient in aggregating and analyzing data using Excel. 
• Experience in data labeling and categorization. 
• Ability to listen to and transcribe content (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing). 
• Familiarity with the relevant domain for the annotation project (e.g., Audio, Text annotation, speech recognition, Natural Language Processing is preferred). 
• Experience with annotation tools and platforms is a plus.
