Job Overview

We are in search of proficient Android Developers who will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of top-notch mobile applications for Android systems. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in crafting scalable, user-centric applications and possess a deep understanding of Android development frameworks, application lifecycle management, and best practices in mobile UI/UX.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Android applications utilizing Kotlin and/or Java.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and backend developers to conceive and execute new features.
• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code in line with industry standards.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and external services seamlessly.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance.
• Conduct unit tests and engage in code reviews.
• Ensure the security, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Publish and oversee applications on the Google Play Store.
• Keep abreast of updates to the Android platform, new technologies, and industry developments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development frameworks.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Over 8 years of experience in Android application development.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack Components.
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
• Strong background in integrating REST APIs and handling JSON/XML data.
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of mobile application security and performance enhancement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with Firebase (Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with SQLite / Room Database.
