Key Responsibilities

This role includes a broad mix of cross-functional and technical responsibilities, so strong working knowledge of IT concepts is required to contribute effectively to the overall environment and release management activities.

Understand the release cycles within GPE and the related testing activities.

Perform release deployments across different environments.

Implement automation initiatives to ensure stable environment operations, including health checks and monitoring.

Conduct triage and escalate High priority Incidents to drive targeted resolutions.

Lower total downtime for end-to-end testing by identifying opportunities during environment upgrades.

Collaborate with regional/country project teams, technical leads, and Asset teams.

Lead root cause analysis with the relevant teams.

Review incidents on a monthly basis and run continuous improvement cycles for incident management.

Engage partner applications and other teams to support issue resolution.

Drive resolution when required, including supporting SMEs from application teams to facilitate fixes.

Provide progress updates on ongoing issues to stakeholders, including executive-level management; communicate technical information clearly, simply, and concisely.

Carry out Infrastructure Management activities, including critical vulnerability fixes, OSDBMQ patching, certificate renewals, etc.

Key skills Required

Strong understanding of environment management, with hands-on experience managing large-scale projects.

Must have strong UNIX and shell scripting experience.

Strong Unix Shell Script with SQL along with DevOps CICD tools Infra Domain.

Experience of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GITHUB, etc.

Experience of deployment change pipelines like CI/CD.

Good understanding of the Payment schemes and e2e flows for US scheme payments.

Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data.

Stakeholder Management skills.

Shift requirement

This is a support role, so the candidate must be able to work in shifts: Morning and Evening.

Weekend support will be provided on a ROTA basis.
