Core Responsibilities:
- Experience with Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python-based microservices is essential.
- Proficiency in working with Kubernetes clusters and service mesh for deploying workloads in hybrid and multi-cloud settings is required.
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, including the ability to define scanning profiles for delivering high-quality results, is necessary.
- A solid understanding of observability practices, including system and application monitoring methodologies utilizing agents and dashboards, is crucial.
- Familiarity with tools such as the ELK stack, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, App Dynamics, and Prometheus with OpenTelemetry agents will be beneficial.
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including risk templates, error budgets, service level objectives (SLOs), runbooks, root cause analysis (RCA), post-mortems, and backlog management is desirable.
- Capability to analyze performance bottlenecks using tools like AWR reports, slow query logs, thread dumps, core dumps, heap dump analyzers, and other relevant technology-specific tools is needed.
- Experience in log analysis, including common pattern recognition and activity trace identification from minimalistic production logs, is expected.
- Knowledge of web server configurations and logs, including Apache, Nginx server logs, and database trace logs, is required.
- Familiarity with automation using AI techniques such as Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RAG) and agentic processes is advantageous.
- Experience in profiling browser and client applications using available tools for browsers and mobile applications is important.
- Operating system experience with Linux or other Unix-based systems is necessary.
- Proficiency in shell scripting, PowerShell, and other command-line utilities for cloud and automation frameworks is required.
- Database persistence experience using JPA, JDBC on Oracle, MySQL, and MS SQL is essential.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, GCP, AWS, or Azure is needed.
