Emerson is seeking a Senior Proposals Engineer II to join Emerson Actuation Technologies. In this position, you will help support MEA Proposals Activities and collaborate with MEA Customer Sales. You will work closely with the MEA Outside Sales Organization to meet customer requirements and contribute to the broader MEA Actuation Technologies organization.

Emerson is seeking a Senior Proposals Engineer II to join Emerson Actuation Technologies. In this position, you will help support MEA Proposals Activities and collaborate with MEA Customer Sales. You will work closely with the MEA Outside Sales Organization to meet customer requirements and contribute to the broader MEA Actuation Technologies organization.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Review and understand project technical requirements and ensure the SMART quote is prepared by Quote Engineers for all enquiries.
- Follow up with sales to understand quote strategy and communicate the product strengths relative to customer requirements.
- Develop understanding of the technicalities of different products within the Actuation Technologies portfolio.
- Coordinate with Engineering/Factory to identify suitable solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Manage and close technical clarifications received for the project and participate in technical clarification activities.
- Follow and apply Emerson Trade Compliance and Ethics.
- Complete the clean handover to project management based on different WA standards/procedure.
- Lead the project and participate in team initiatives.
- Prepare final deliverables in accordance with in-house standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Degree in Engineering with 7 – 9 years of experience in the Automation Industry, with exclusive experience on Inside Sales / Pre-sales quote activities / customer experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships effectively with staff at all levels.
