Senior IT Support Engineer

Become an integral part of our team as a Senior Support Lead, where you will be instrumental in sustaining effective manufacturing systems, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver L2/L3 manufacturing system support during both day and night shifts. Maintain the integrity and uptime of shop floor and warehouse systems. Conduct backend checks for issues escalated from L1 support. Collaborate with technical leaders to resolve complex system challenges and aid in the testing of new functionalities and knowledge transfer. Work in close partnership with production floor users to evaluate system functions and engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new releases. Oversee and refine the IT knowledge base curated by support team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Implement IT enhancements, manage system functional releases, and oversee deployment activities in line with established application control policies. Cultivate root cause analysis capabilities to assist the IT Support Manager in fortifying the support team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing application support. Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of shop floor-related manufacturing systems and processes, along with experience in relational databases and software lifecycle management, is essential. Certification in Software (such as MES/ERP) and familiarity with Industry 4.0 processes are preferred. Proficiency in SQL queries and debugging tools, as well as helpdesk management experience, is a valuable asset.
