Senior Golang Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• About the Role
• We are seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to design and continuously improve scalable backend services for FLYR OOMS products
• The position blends hands-on Golang engineering with technical ownership, including proof of concept (POC) development and continuous improvement
• Focus areas include database optimization, cloud-native delivery, and ongoing support to ensure reliable production services
• Roles Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend product features and services using Golang
• Design and optimize database structures and queries using Google Spanner
• Build and support REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance through sound engineering practices
• Partner with DevOps teams to drive CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code
• Own and execute proof of concept development to validate proposed solutions and reduce technical risk
• Continuously identify improvement opportunities to enhance code quality and productivity
• Support monitoring, production troubleshooting, documentation, estimates, and knowledge sharing
• Apply LLM and agentic workflow practices within the SDLC
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• 5 years as a Backend Developer, including 3 years as a Golang Developer
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, REST APIs, and microservices
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting high-load, high-uptime production services and Agile Scrum delivery
