In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Test features across our Ovation platform and its addon applications in collaboration with other team members.
- Execute smoke testing, first pass testing, and regression testing with the team, and document/report findings.
- Maintain and strengthen the skill level of the entire engineering organization.
- Support overall organizational quality by testing all applications.
- Ensure high performance across a variety of platforms.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for different software systems.
- Recreate reported issues and share findings.
- Create both automated and manual tests for a range of software systems.
- Take ownership of a major software product component across multiple platforms.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in product testing of DCS and its supported software such as OPC, Data Analytics, Historian, Advance Algorithms, Cybersecurity solutions, Third party protocols
- Experience with various testing methodologies (functional testing, system testing, compatibility testing, performance testing)
- Experience in Installation of Windows OS, Drivers, and Microsoft Patches
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to the testing procedures
- Experience of field instrument, discrete and continuous Controllers, HMI, and bus technologies
- BE/BTech Engineering course (Instrumentation, EE, ECE, Power)
- Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts
- Experience ISTQB certificate at Foundation level
- Knowledge on virtualization/VM ware
- Basic understanding of power plant control systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in C/C++/C#/.NET, VMware, Crystal Reports, Communication Protocols
