Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Security Consultant focusing on Intelligence & Operations, you will play a vital role in assisting Client IT in identifying and addressing critical security challenges, vulnerabilities, and exposures. Your knowledge in security intelligence and operations allows you to formulate effective security strategies and mitigation plans.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Develop Security Strategies: Utilize security principles, counter-threat intelligence, and your understanding of security intelligence and operations to formulate and propose effective security strategies, programs, plans, and mitigation measures.
• Enhance Security Posture: Implement proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense strategies to strengthen Client IT's security posture.
• Articulate IBM's SIOC and SIEM: Effectively communicate the perspectives of IBM's Security Intelligence and Operations Center (SIOC) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), including their financial implications.
• Leverage Threat Intelligence: Utilize practical experience with tools such as QRadar to analyze and address various cyber threats.
• Collaborate with Clients: Partner closely with Client IT to comprehend their security requirements and provide customized security solutions.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Security Intelligence Knowledge: Familiarity with security intelligence and operations, including security principles and counter-threat intelligence, to create effective security strategies and mitigation measures.
• Threat Analysis Experience: Practical experience with tools like QRadar to analyze and mitigate a range of cyber threats.
• Security Strategy Development: Proven experience in developing security strategies, programs, plans, and mitigation measures to tackle significant security issues and vulnerabilities.
• Security Posture Enhancement: Knowledge of proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense strategies aimed at improving security posture.
• Security Solution Delivery: Experience in collaborating with clients to identify their security needs and implement tailored security solutions.

• Hands-on QRadar Experience: Experience using QRadar for the analysis and mitigation of various cyber threats, enhancing security posture through proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense strategies.
• Cyber Threat Knowledge: Awareness of various cyber threats, coupled with an understanding of security intelligence and operations to formulate effective security strategies and mitigation measures.
• Financial Implication Understanding: Experience in articulating the financial implications associated with security strategies, programs, plans, and mitigation measures, including insights into IBM's SIOC and SIEM perspectives.
