SAP MDG Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• A typical day for an Infoscion
• In your role as a member of the Infosys consulting team, you will play an integral part in various phases of projects, including defining problems, estimating efforts, diagnosing issues, generating solutions, as well as designing and deploying them.
• You will investigate alternatives to proposed solutions, utilizing research methods such as literature reviews, publicly available information, vendor evaluations, and more.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for developing Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Your tasks will include drafting requirement specifications based on business needs, defining future processes, and creating detailed functional designs aligned with those requirements.
• You will assist in configuring solution requirements within products, identify any issues, analyze root causes, seek clarifications, and narrow down potential solution alternatives.
• Moreover, you will engage in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to our clients.

Technical Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in SAP MDG projects is essential, particularly in performing MDG Configurations and Customizations in areas such as Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Data Replication Framework, Key Mapping rules, and derivations using BRF.
• Expertise in SAP MDG configurations and replication setups, as well as a solid understanding of MDG workflows and ERP tables, is required.
• Experience with the full life cycle of implementation, including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, and go-live activities is necessary.
• Technical proficiency and hands-on experience in customizations for MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, and development using BADI ABAP are also required.
• Familiarity with WDABAP framework-based customizations, OOP programming in SAP MDG, FPM, and UI customizations is highly desirable.
• Collaboration with technical teams to finalize the SAP MDG implementation for Material, Customer, Supplier, and FI objects will be part of your responsibilities.
